Melvin Frohike is a character from the television series The X-Files and The Lone Gunmen, and is portrayed by Tom Braidwood. He is part of a trio of men known as The Lone Gunmen, who investigate and report on truth and government conspiracies. They are a friend to Fox Mulder and often help him with various investigations and provide information.

Although he is a member of The Lone Gunmen, prone to conspiracy suspicions, he still finds the time to be a big flirt and to have a sense of humor. He has a crush on Agent Dana Scully and doesn't bother to hide these feelings from her or Mulder.
