Small Potatoes is an interesting episode of The X-Files, involving several babies being born with "tails". Such a genetic anamoly and a new mother's claim brings the case to the attention of Mulder...

Scully and Mulder interview a woman who has recently given birth, she had claimed her husband was from another planet. However, it isn't an "alien" so much as it is... Luke Skywalker, a fictional character from films... Although the woman's claims seem outlandish, further investigation proves that there is something unexplained going on.

The majority of the babies were born to clients of a fertility clinic, where one Eddie Van Blundt is a custodian, who has taken it upon himself to impregnate these women under unusual circumstances, but not medical tampering...

Eddie can change his form and take on the appearance of anyone he chooses. Husbands, fictional film characters, and FBI agents... He soon assumes Mulder's form and decides to try his hand at being an agent and wooing Scully. He fumbled a bit with the agent part... but wooing Scully proved successful... almost.
